Harold E. 'Bud' Stahlberg, 77

Harold E. "Bud" Stahlberg, 77, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at Healthcenter Northwest in Kalispell. He was born Dec. 7, 1930, in Greenbush, Minn., to Harold W. and Olga G. (Sands) Stahlberg.

Bud received his early education in Strathcona, Minn., before the family moved to the Flathead Valley. He continued his schooling at Cayuse Prairie, graduating from Flathead High School.

He married Shirley Anderson in Bigfork. They later divorced.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Yvonne "Bunny" Belston.

He is survived by four sons, John, Rand, Dan and Brad Stahlberg; two sisters, Muriel and Fern; and five brothers, Ken Wayne, Clark, Bryan, Gene and Gordon. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, of whom he was extremely proud.

A celebration of Bud's life will be held Aug. 3; details will be announced in a memorial notice in July.
