James C. Ocheltree, 67

Former Spokane resident James C. Ocheltree, 67, of Great Falls, a businessman who owned Big Jim's Painting in Kalispell before retiring to Great Falls, died Saturday, May 31, 2008, at a Great Falls area hospital following an extended illness.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda (White) Hodgson Ocheltree, of Great Falls; daughters, Londa and Dale Meier of Kalispell, and Kristi Heaton of Spokane; sons, James and Fran Hodgson of Chinook, Aaron Ocheltree of Spokane, and Allen and Terri Ocheltree of Babb; a sister, Marlene, and Vince Gailey, of Oak Harbor, Wash.; brothers, Gary and Karen Ocheltree, and Dennis Ocheltree, all of Spokane; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Esther Ocheltree; a brother, Don Ocheltree; and a grandson, Brent Meier.

His memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 4, at Hillcrest Lawn Chapel in Great Falls. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
