An assault was reported at a Shady Lane residence.

Deputies broke up verbal altercations between two people on Martin Camp Road and then later between a woman and her boyfriend at a fast-food restaurant in Evergreen.

Two men seen rummaging through belongings on a Sharon Road porch ran off before deputies arrived.

Deputies responded twice to a big box store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen after shoplifters were reported. No word on what the suspects allegedly took.

A car reportedly hit a keg on U.S. 2.

Deputies dispersed a group of people arguing about relationships and finances on Old U.S. 93.

An East Evergreen Drive resident called deputies with information about a knife lying in the middle of the road. It was gone when deputies arrived.

A bat found at a Bigfork elementary school was taken to the animal shelter.

Medication was reported stolen from a Mountain View Drive home.

Kalispell police

A Fifth Avenue East man told Kalispell police somebody loosened the lug nuts on the left front tire of his car.

A North Meridian Road woman showed up at the Sheriff's Office with drug paraphernalia she found in her son's room.

A shed was moved into the road near the intersection of South Meridian Road and Fourth Street.

Officers arrested a 26-year-old woman on an outstanding warrant while investigating reports of a disturbance at a hotel on U.S. 93 South.

Police arrested a 26-year-old man on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, obstructing an officer, and a stop-sign violation during a traffic stop on East Idaho Street.

Laptop computers were reported stolen from a lab on Fifth Avenue East North.

Officers explained to a woman who was kicked out of the movie theaters near the intersection of U.S. 93 and West Reserve Drive why that type of behavior might get her in trouble.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police arrested a 44-year-old man on a contempt of court warrant.

Officers received 28 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Alarms

The Evergreen Fire Department responded to a natural-gas leak on East Reserve Drive, and the Bigfork Fire Department responded to a hit gas line on Parkway Avenue.
