Whitefish police
Whitefish police responded to a report of a group of boys tying another boy wrapped in green cellophane to a telephone pole on the north side of the viaduct. Officers freed the boy.
A 12-year-old runaway was found at City Beach.
Kalispell police
Kalispell police found malamutes unfairly accused Saturday after checking out a complaint that dogs on Third Avenue East were barking. The responding officer reported back that the two dogs at the location were the only two on the block, and they weren't barking.
Another resident on Second Avenue West complained to police of low-flying airplanes at about 7 a.m. The resident was informed that he needs a tail number to file a complaint with the FAA.
A noise complaint just after midnight led to three teenagers being arrested as minors in possession of alcohol on Second Avenue East and Second Street East.
Another noise complaint on North Main led to the arrest of a woman, 21, on a warrant for contempt.
Officers investigated a report of a neighbor on Two Mile Drive jumping up and down on the hood of a car, causing damage. It turned out the neighbor was trying to thwart a car theft but it was actually a car repossession.
A man reported to police that his ex-wife's boyfriend tried to run him down while he crossed the street at First Avenue East and Fifth Street late Friday evening.
An unknown person broke out the window and dented up a vehicle parked on Ninth Street West on Friday evening.
A 28-year-old man was arrested by Kalispell Police on Friday for disorderly conduct on U.S. Highway 2 West.
Officers are investigating a report of a blue Dodge pickup running into a bike rider. The driver allegedly stopped to check if the rider was OK, but then left the scene.
Flathead County sheriff
Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of an underage party early Saturday in the Patrick Creek area.
Gunshots were reported in the river area near 583 First Street Southwest in Hungry Horse.
Deputies investigated a theft on Angel Point Road.
Animals were restless Saturday with loose cows in the road on U.S. Highway 2 in Columbia Falls and a goat wandering around on Columbia Meadows Drive.
A vehicle rolled over and went through a fence Saturday on Rhodes Draw by the elk ranch. The driver was treated at the scene.

Columbia Falls police counseled a man and woman fighting on Fourth Avenue West and quieted a loud party Saturday on Fifth Avenue West.
A 25-year-old man was arrested for endangering the welfare of a child after a traffic stop in Columbia Falls.
