Hosek overall champ at Levengood shoot
The Daily Inter Lake
Shooters from Kalispell, Whitefish and Polson won titles last weekend at the Scott Levengood Memorial Trap Shoot.
The event, which attracted more than 115 shooters from Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Canada, was held at the Flathead Valley Clay Target Club.
Eric Hosek of Whitefish was the high overall champion. His winning total out of a possible 400 birds was 386.
The shoot honored Levengood, who was one of the most prolific trap shooters in the Pacific Northwest. Levengood, who died in 2003, is a member of the Montana State Trap Shooting Hall of Fame.
