Arlene Mae Wagner White, 84

Arlene Mae Wagner White, 84, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2008, at home in Hungry Horse. She was born in Creston on April 9, 1924, to Albert and Emma (Heller) Wagner.

Arlene received her early education in Creston and graduated from Flathead High School in 1942.

She worked as a legal assistant to Charlie Baldwin before going to work for the federal government. Her positions included work at Hoover Dam and Hungry Horse Dam, and as an office manager of the Kalispell branch of the Selective Service office.

Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Francis "Fred" White; her parents; three brothers, Fred, Richard and Earl; and son-in-law, Alan Frank.

She is survived by three sons, Dusty and Mary White of Coram, and their children, Dustin of Missoula, and Mark and Tiffany (White) Homola of Columbia Falls; Mike and Jody White of Kalispell, and their children, Michael, Mitchell, Monte and Monica White, all of Kalispell, and Marcy White of Missoula; and Val and Mel White of Hungry Horse, and their children, Crystal White of Missoula, and Britney and Cortney White of Hungry Horse; and one daughter, Lorri and David Brenneman of Manhattan, and their daughters, Emalore and Alanna Brenneman of Belgrade. She also is survived by many dear friends, nieces and nephews.

Arlene's presence will forever be missed by all.

Funeral services for Arlene will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 23, in the Johnson-Gloschat chapel, with Pastor Ron Pierce officiating. Burial will be afterward in the C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery.
