Mariners dump Dillon

DEER LODGE - Mission Valley turned three double plays, and pitchers Tim Rausch and Spencer Trawick combined on a four-hitter as the Mariners rocked Dillon 10-2 Friday at the Deer Lodge Wood Bat Tournament.
Rausch fanned four and walked seven in picking up the Class A American Legion baseball victory. He's now 4-0 on the season.
Mission Valley first baseman Eric Locke had an unassisted double play, while catcher John Rausch picked off Dillon runners at first and third.
The Mariners slammed 15 hits in the contest. Tyler Linse and Nick Fell both went 3-for-5. Beau Nordberg had three RBIs for Mission Valley.
The Mariners (22-9) continue with tournament play today - 8 a.m. versus the Missoula Pioneers and 10:30 versus Fort Benton.
