Susan Joan (Collins) Sorell, 92

Susan Joan (Collins) Sorell, born July 7, 1915, to Kathleen Susan and William G. Collins, "entered into eternal rest" on Wednesday, June 18, 2008, in Tucson Ariz.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Claude Ferris Sorell; and two grandchildren, Chris and Laurie Sorell.

She is survived by two sons, Joseph John and Laura Sorell, and Carl Ferris and Harminder Sorell; two daughters, Cheri Susan and James White, and Mary Sorell; one sister, Patricia Ann Smith; one brother, William G. and Ginnie Collins; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren.

Susan, known as Joan to her many friends and family, was a long time resident of Kalispell and Pleasant Valley, until she moved to Tucson where she had resided since the '80s.

In lieu of any flowers, please contribute to your favorite charity on her behalf. Her ashes will be laid to rest next to her husband at 2 p.m. Friday, June 27, at Lonepine Cemetery (the Little Brown Church), 125 Swan Highway, in Bigfork. A reception will follow the services at the Lions Park in Kalispell (across from the new Rosauers).
