An angler called the Flathead County Sheriff's Office because he was upset with people who were launching boats right where he was trying to fish. Unfortunately, his fishing hole was a boat launch.

A 21-speed bicycle valued at $700 was stolen from a fireworks stand in Evergreen.

A bear killed a dog in a trailer court on Jellison Road, then climbed a tree. Eventually it climbed down and left.

Deputies arrested a 35-year-old woman on suspicion of shoplifting at a box store.

A woman complained that her boyfriend had broken into her house and stolen some of her things while she'd been in jail. He'd also reportedly left a bong behind.

An intoxicated couple argued in a restaurant parking lot. When the woman tried to leave, she high-centered her vehicle on a large, decorative rock. Deputies arrested her on suspicion of DUI.

A man watched four youths dump mustard and bologna on his Ford Ranger. Neither the deli meat nor the condiment did any permanent damage to the vehicle, and the owner didn't want to pursue charges.

A bench was stolen from the front of a Bigfork cafe.

After a disturbance at Lost Johnny Campground, one person went to jail on suspicion of partner/family member assault.

Kalispell police

A woman took a dog home with her Friday after she watched it run into traffic. She called Kalispell police Saturday to say that though the dog did have tags, she feared it wasn't being cared for, and she wanted to keep it.

A caller reported a suspicious woman rummaging through unlocked vehicles near 10th Street and Eighth Avenue. Officers arrived and arrested a man on suspicion of drug possession, criminal trespass to a vehicle and minor in possession.

When a bar patron stepped outside, his bicycle lock was right where he'd left it, but the bike it had been locking was gone.

Officers arrested a man at a bar on a warrant for failure to appear in court on two counts of sexual assault.

Officers arrested a man, 33, on suspicion of partner/family member assault.

Officers received 83 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Friday and 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police received a report of a theft from a store on Central Avenue.

A vehicle escaped and rolled itself over an embankment on East Second Street.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police received 28 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Alarms

A car caught fire in a garage on East Evergreen Drive. Evergreen and South Kalispell fire departments were dispatched to the fire, which destroyed both the car and garage before it was extinguished.
