Sentinel slams Glacier

MISSOULA - Missoula Sentinel bolted to a 21-5 lead in the first quarter and cruised from there to a 59-22 Western AA girls' basketball playoff victory Friday night over Glacier.

Sentinel led 37-7 at the half.

Bryn Hasquet paced Sentinel with 15 points. Meghan Eisenmann added 13.

Emilee Hashley had seven for Glacier.

The victory advances Sentinel (15-5) to the Class AA state tournament in Great Falls, which begins Thursday. Glacier finished season play at 1-20.

In another Western AA playoff contest on Friday, Helena Capital downed Helena High 49-32.
