The Evergreen Fire Department and South Kalispell Fire Department extinguished a fire in the basement of a Harmony Road residence. No one was injured, but the house suffered extensive smoke damage.

Some one concerned about a plume of smoke in the Flathead Drive area called the Evergreen Fire Department. The fire turned out to be a controlled burn.

They also responded to Riverstone Drive where a terrified cat was found stuck in a tree.

The Badrock Fire Department and Three Rivers EMS responded to Winfield Lane where a 25-year-old woman was thrown from a horse. She was taken to North Valley Hospital.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to a crash on Edgewood Place. One person was taken to North Valley Hospital.

The Somers Fire Department responded to an antique store on U.S. 93 after receiving reports of smoke. Turns out the fire was a controlled burn of a slash pile.
