Gary D. Hamilton, 61, of Lakewood, Wash., formerly of Columbia Falls, died of natural causes on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008, at the Regional Medical Center in Tukwila, Wash.

Gary was born Jan. 26, 1947, to William "Bill" Hamilton and Georgia (Lewtz) Hamilton in Kalispell.

He will be coming home to be laid to rest in the family plot at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia Falls.

Gary loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and camping.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his two aunts, Maggie Wagner and Josephine Hamilton, and several other aunts and uncles; and his cousin, Allan Hamilton, in 2007.

Gary is survived by his wife Jody, at their home in Lakewood; two sons, Russell, and Dustin and his wife, Angie, and their two children, Kobaine and Jaide, all of Lakewood; one daughter, Carmen Magone, and her two children; and his two cousins, Kay Council of Columbia Falls and Bill Wagner of Whitefish.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia Falls. Rev. Ray Davis officiating.

Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls is in charge of the arrangements.
