Flathead County Sheriff's deputies cited a 17-year-old girl for shoplifting after she was found stealing makeup and earrings from a store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen.

While attempting to serve a warrant on a Pioneer Road resident, game wardens came across an 18-year-old man wanted on a Kalispell contempt warrant and arrested him instead.

A mailbox was vandalized on Trumble Creek Road.

An unoccupied vehicle was found down an embankment on Big Mountain Road.

People hanging around a storage unit on Montana 35 were reported as suspicious persons. Deputies stopped the group, ran them for warrants, and found nothing amiss.

Five deputies responded to a domestic disturbance on Harmony Road and separated a man and his wife, who were involved in a verbal altercation. The woman left for the night.

Deputies were required to break up an argument between a man and his son over the ownership of a car.

A rock was thrown through the window of a mobile home on Fern Lane in Bigfork.

The front passenger window of a locked car in the parking lot of a store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen was smashed out and a purse stolen.

A car ran into a utility pole near the intersection of U.S. 93 and Montana 40. The driver, who suffered a cut on the head, refused transport to the hospital.

A logging truck lost its load on Montana 35 in Creston, shutting down traffic in the eastbound lane for at least an hour. No one was injured.

Non-injury accidents were reported on River Road in Columbia Falls, U.S. 2 near the Central Valley Animal Hospital, Bierney Creek Road in Lakeside, East Cottonwood Drive in Evergreen, and U.S. 93 in Kalispell, where a tractor-trailer got stuck in traffic.

Deputies were asked to check on a Toftum Lane man thought to be suicidal. He wasn't.

Deputies counseled the resident of a mobile home on U.S. 2 near Kalispell who was receiving threatening phone calls.
