Kalispell police

A concerned citizen requested Kalispell police look in on a friend with whom he hadn't spoken in a while. Officers found the friend - in the Flathead County Detention Center.

A purse with $320 in cash and some prescription medication inside was stolen from a car on Second Street West.

A Ninth Avenue West woman told officers she had been assaulted by a man who then refused to leave her house. She called after leaving the residence with a friend, and officers were unable to locate her alleged assailant.

An employee of a bank on South Main Street called police after hearing somebody walk across the roof.

Officers arrested a 20-year-old man, 18-year-old man, and 17-year-old boy for possession of alcohol on Eighth Avenue West while searching for people breaking into vehicles.

Officers were unable to find a four-wheeler making an inordinate amount of noise near the intersection of Fourth Avenue East and Center Street.

A security box and a diploma were stolen from a car on 11th Street East. Most of the security box's contents were recovered.

Money was fraudulently taken from an elderly man's bank account, his daughter told police.

Officers were unable to locate a man accused of assaulting a Cooper Lane woman.

A Pintail Court resident called police because his neighbor's dog keeps defecating in his yard.
