| March 13, 2008 1:00 AM

Three passing motorists watch over an injured man until help arrives at the scene of a one-car accident Wednesday on U.S. 93 near Happy Valley. According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the 28-year-old driver was southbound in a Chevrolet Trailblazer at about 4:30 p.m. when veered off the road, overcorrected, and rolled across the northbound lanes of traffic. The driver, who was thrown from the vehicle, was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center with serious injuries. He was the car's only occupant. What caused the man to lose control of the vehicle is under investigation. Tickets are pending, the patrol said.
