Richard "Skot" Watson, 17, passed away March 13, 2008, in Columbia Falls due to injuries received in a car wreck a year ago. He was born June 26, 1990, in Columbia Falls.

Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. today, March 15, at the New Covenant Fellowship, 436 Birch Grove Road, in Kalispell.

Skot is survived by his parents, Edward "Barry" Watson and Patricia "Patti" Conway; stepmother, Bev Watson; stepdad, Scott S. Ramsey; siblings, Beth Watson, Patrick A. Conway, Jenny Ramsey, Crystal Ramsey and David Ramsey; grandparents, Richard E. Watson, William Pat Conway and Elizabeth Conway; seven aunts and uncles; too many cousins to count; and tons of true friends.

Skot was raised in Columbia Falls most of his life and went to schools there. He also went to Monroe, Wash., to live with his father for a few years and attended Salton High. His short, few years over there, he made a big impact on many people and made many friends.

Skot was always a fun-loving, outgoing, helpful guy who made people smile. He loved to fish, camp and swim. He was a gaming geek and he was good at it.

His life was so short but he had the biggest heart of anyone we know. He will be missed greatly by all. Rest in peace.
