Whitefish

| March 25, 2008 1:00 AM

Whitefish police arrested three people at a home on Baker Avenue Sunday after someone reported that noise from inside the house was loud enough to hear from outside. When police responded, they discovered five people who had been drinking but three of them refused to cooperate. A 14-year-old Whitefish girl was arrested for being a minor in possession of alcohol and disorderly conduct, a 35-year-old Oregon man for disorderly conduct, and a 38-year-old California woman for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Three people walking on thinning Whitefish Lake ice were flagged down and came back to shore before any harm came to them Sunday night.

A syringe and beer bottle were found near an Edgewood Alley cafe.

An early-morning disturbance at a motel ended when a woman and three men were removed from the premises.
