Kalispell police
Two people reported the man at Lawrence Park asking about children's porn Web sites Saturday afternoon. A Kalispell police officer told him he'd be arrested for trespassing if he returned.
Several thefts were reported Friday and Saturday, including a shoe box full of jewelry from a Woodland Avenue home, bikes from outside a Liberty Street apartment and a yard on Second Avenue West, a longboard from a vehicle parked on Crestview Drive, a $90 necklace from a business on First Street West and a "purse-type bag" from an 11th Street East apartment.
Several cars were rummaged through on Sylvan Drive and College Avenue; a laptop was stolen from one locked vehicle. On Sylvan Drive, a woman found the items missing from her vehicle in her neighbor's yard.
A caller complained that cars were speeding through the Flathead Valley Community College campus and jumping the curb that separates the college from the adjacent development.
Vehicles were egged on First Avenue East, Parkway Drive and Wedgewood Lane.
A window was broken out of and a purse stolen from a car parked at a West Idaho Street casino.
Police arrested a man and a girl in connection with possessing drug paraphernalia. The man also was ticketed on suspicion of driving under the influence; the girl with drug possession, tobacco possession and curfew violation.
Police arrested a panhandler in Evergreen on a partner-assault warrant.
Flathead County sheriff
A Flathead County sheriff's deputy found a BB on the floorboard of a vehicle whose windows had been broken out while it was in a bar parking lot.
A railroad car that caught fire Friday in Nyack Flats started smoldering again Saturday morning.
A portable DVD player and three DVDs were stolen from a vehicle on Tahoe Drive. Other vehicles on that street were rifled through, as were cars parked on Shady Glen Drive.
A woman suspects her friend is the thief who stole her purse with the $85 tanning lotion inside.
A trespassing fisherman was reported on Egan Slough Road.
Columbia Falls police
Columbia Falls police arrested two boys in connection with being minors in possession of alcohol.
An 18-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of obstructing on officer.
Alarms
One person was injured and taken to the hospital when a vehicle rolled on Smith Lake Road early Saturday morning. ALERT helicopter and the Smith Valley Fire Department responded to the accident.
The Ferndale Fire Department put out a brush fire Saturday near the Swan River Bridge on Montana 209.
