Fire destroys home

Fire destroyed a Lakeside house on Grayling Road early Sunday morning.

No one was injured. Additional details were not available Sunday. The Somers Fire Department and Lakeside Quick Response Unit handled the blaze.

Tribal police

A mountain lion was spotted Saturday afternoon on a foot path near U.S. 93 on Polson Hill, the Salish and Kootenai tribal police reported.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police arrested a 20-year-old man Saturday afternoon on Second Avenue West after his vehicle allegedly hit another vehicle in a parking lot, and he then began punching and kicking a third vehicle. He was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving, possessing alcohol, reckless driving, not reporting the accident, and having a revoked license and no insurance.

Police arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of disorderly conduct and possessing drug paraphernalia at a downtown business area Saturday evening.

A man hit a woman, knocking her to the ground on Liberty Street on Saturday evening.

A woman allegeldy pushed another woman to the ground at a Columbia Falls tavern early Saturday evening, resulting in the victim going to North Valley Hospital. The suspect was ticketed on suspicion of assault Sunday, the Flathead County Sheriff's Office said.

A lawnmower was stolen from a Lakeside home Saturday afternoon.

A computer and other items were reported stolen Saturday afternoon from a home on Connie Lou Lane.

Deputies ticketed one person on suspicion of underage possession of alcohol at Bigfork High School's prom Saturday evening.

Columbia Falls police arrested a 27-year-old man on suspicion of drunken driving early Sunday morning.

A 19-year-old man turned himself in because of a warrant Saturday afternoon.

Columbia Falls police received 38 calls from 3:30 p.m. Saturday to 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 17-year-old boy on suspicion of driving with a suspended license Sunday afternoon.

A purse was snatched in the downtown early Saturday evening.

Whitefish police received 70 calls from 3:30 p.m. Saturday to 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

Alarms

An osprey nest shorted-circuited some electric wires and caused the top of a Bigfork telephone pole to catch of fire early Sunday afternoon. The Bigfork and Creston fire departments responded.
