Flathead County sheriff

An employee of an Evergreen grocery store is accused of leaving the building's back door open, allowing an accomplice to sneak in and steal booze. This allegedly occurred for three months. Flathead County sheriff's deputies are investigating.

Five mailboxes were smashed on Somers Road.

A Two Mile Drive man told deputies his ex-girlfriend burst into his house and began verbally assaulting him.

A Black Log Lane man got into a fight with his fiance/ several days ago and hasn't spoken to her since. He reported her missing, but she later returned.

Deputies responded to White Fawn Lane to settle an argument between two neighbors. It all began when a 10-year-old boy cut across one neighbor's lawn, prompting the resident to begin yelling at him. The second neighbor allegedly began yelling at the first neighbor for yelling at the boy. The boy took off, but the neighbors kept arguing until deputies arrived.

A hunter warned a Blacktail Road resident to be on the lookout for a nearby black bear, which most likely would be angry because it had just been shot.

Deputies responded to an apartment complex on Montana 35 in Evergreen, where a bunch of people were standing outside yelling at one another.

A man, who had been drinking, was banging on doors on Montana 35. He was given a ride to an East Idaho Street motel.

A TV was stolen from a Trumble Canyon Road home, and a purse was stolen from a car on Youngs Lane.

Dogs were observed killing ducks on Lakeside Boulevard.

A Nicholson Drive woman complained about transients trespassing on her property.

A Montana 40 resident told deputies a neighbor was stealing his plywood.

Koi fish went missing from a Rufenach Lane resident's pond.

A motorcycle rider, allegedly cut off by a truck on Main Street in Kalispell, followed the inconsiderate driver down U.S. 93. When they pulled over to have words, the motorcycle rider swung his helmet and broke the other driver's window.

Deputies received 158 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Kalispell police arrested a 15-year-old boy on suspicion of shoplifting candy bars and chips from a grocery store on West Idaho Street.

Employees of a First Avenue West business told police they thought their boss's ex-boyfriend was going to kill them.

Eight lamps were thrown in the street and broken on Honeysuckle Lane.

While investigating reports of a suspicious person on Liberty Street, officers arrested a 23-year-old woman on warrants for writing bad checks and failure to appear on traffic citations.

About 150 CDs and a laptop computer were stolen from a car on Two Mile Drive.

Officers arrested a 15-year-old Glacier High School student on suspicion of disorderly conduct and sexual assault after he allegedly grabbed a girl's butt.

A Fourth Avenue West resident told police someone was trying to break through the door. Turns out an intoxicated woman had the wrong house.

Officers received 88 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

Between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Whitefish police received 46 calls for service, and Columbia Falls police received 16 calls for service.
