Kalispell man dies in crash

Eric Richard Berry, 37, of Kalispell was killed Friday when he lost control of his motorcycle near Idaho Hill Road and U.S. 2 West.

According to the Flathead County Sheriff's Office, the victim was passing a vehicle when he lost control, left the road and was thrown from the motorcycle. He was not wearing a helmet.

Marion Fire Department, Marion Ambulance and ALERT arrived at the scene. Berry was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center via ALERT but was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.

The crash is under investigation by the Montana Highway Patrol.
