Kalispell police got report of a bird break-out Saturday. A resident on Northern Lights spotted a blue and white parakeet in the yard.

Another escapee had assistance. A brindle female pitbull/doberman-cross puppy apparently was stolen from the animal shelter. The suspected abductors were driving a blue and teal Pontiac Grand Am.

Officers responded to a single vehicle rollover on Foy's Lake Road at about 12:30 p.m. Saturday. Details on injuries were not available.

A resident of Third Avenue East lost four, 17-inch Koby wheels from the back seat of an unlocked car. They were valued from $900 to $1,000.

Officers investigated a hit and run at Main and West Washington just after 10 a.m. Saturday. The fleeing vehicle had extensive damage and was described as a navy blue Dodge Durango driven by a man with a shaved head.

Vacant apartments were broken into on Winward Way.

Two women, 29 and 30, were arrested on suspicion of partner assault after an incident on Crestview Drive. The 29-year-old woman also was ticketed on suspicion of parole violation.

A business on Meridian Road threw three men dressed in black out twice before calling the police. The third ejection was a charm as they left before police arrived, but not before trying to kick out some windows.

A driver found a $400 trailer equalizer hitch missing from a truck Friday evening in a parking lot on Sunnyview Lane.

Also Friday evening, a driver returned to a locked car on Liberty Street to find a digital camera, two cards, cash and a Social Security card missing. Apparently, the thief gained entry through a cracked window.

Flathead County sheriff

Flathead County sheriff's deputies investigated an assault with eggs on a house on Mission Trail late Friday.

A car was reported stolen from a parking lot on East Idaho at about 9:30 p.m. Friday.

Deputies were called to remove unwanted teenagers from a restaurant in Bigfork on Friday evening.

Guns were reported stolen from containers on U.S. 2. Then gunshots were heard Friday on Van Sant Road.

Someone forgot to extinguish a bonfire on Montana 35 in Bigfork. An unattended fire was reported.

A driver left a Lakeside lounge at about 2:35 a.m. Saturday to find his vehicle missing. Another car was reported stolen from Stoner Creek Road in Lakeside at 9:36 a.m., and then another car went missing at 10:13 a.m. from the same Lakeside lounge.

Deputies received reports of criminal mischief at Bear Hollow subdivision, North Mission Drive, Mission Way, a business on U.S. 93 North and Montana 82 on Saturday morning.

Two dog incidents were reported Saturday. One attacked someone at 8:58 a.m. at Trumble Creek Road, and then a vicious dog was reported at 9:23 a.m. on Dawn Drive.

Residents decided not to confront the miscreant who broke a car window on Haskill Basin Road. It was apparently a black bear.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police investigated the theft of a unicycle Saturday afternoon from Central School. No reports of clowns gone bad came in from the area.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls officers arrested a man, 47, on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. He was arrested in the parking lot of a restaurant.

Officers arrested a woman, 32, on suspicion of partner assault at a home on Eighth Avenue West.
