Betty Jean Pollard, 79

Betty Jean Pollard, 79, passed away May 20, 2008, at her home in Spokane Valley, Wash., from lung cancer. Betty was born Nov. 16, 1928, to Arnold and Bertha Wuest in Malta.

Betty is survived by husband, Bill Jeffries, of Spokane; son, Timothy Noble, and his wife, Brenda, of Libby; daughter, Penny VanDort, and her husband, Jon, of Kalispell; and numerous stepchildren, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Betty also is survived by her brother, Walter Wuest, of Libby; one niece; one nephew; and many very special friends too numerous to name.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; one brother and sister-in-law; and three husbands.

Cremation has taken place, and her ashes will be taken to Montana.

A celebration of Betty's life will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. June 14 at Shan and Barb Bush's house in Spokane Valley.
