Lillian Catherine Mico, 87

Lillian Catherine Mico, 87, passed away May 24, 2008, at the Immanuel Lutheran Home in Kalispell. She was born Aug. 14, 1920, in Wadsworth, Ill., to John and Elizabeth Hogan.

Lillian graduated from Saint Therese's School of Nursing in Waukeegan, Ill. Thereafter, she worked as a nurse at Saint Therese's Hospital in Waukeegan.

In August 1960, she married Fred Mico in Wadsworth. They were married for 34 years.

Lillian was also a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, sewing and knitting, as well as spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Mico.

Lillian is survived by her children, Margaret Bastrup and husband, Bob, Kathleen Daniels and husband, Kenneth, Paul Mico and wife, Susan, and Beth Arndt and husband, Heiko; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren, with one on the way. She also is survived by her brother, William, and Grace Strahan.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in June at Saint Patrick's Church in Wadsworth. Burial will take place at Ascension Cemetery in Illinois.
