An intoxicated man allegedly hit on a 15-year-old baby sitter at a home on Somers Stage Road. Flathead County sheriff's deputies responded after other people present asked the man to stop and punches were thrown. Deputies forwarded their report to the Flathead County Attorney's Office for possible charges.
Somebody out hiking in the Hungry Horse area found a backpack and turned it in to authorities. Deputies are trying to contact the owner.

A man called Kalispell police to report that his ex-girlfriend wouldn't let him leave a 10th Street West residence, but that he escaped - leaving his boots behind. Later, the ex-girlfriend called to report that the man had ripped off her bra and bruised her arm, but might try to claim that she sexually assaulted him.
Officers arrested a 39-year-old woman on suspicion of theft after she allegedly stole $11 from a clinic off U.S. 93.
A 13-year-old boy, who took off from his 10th Street West home, later returned.

Columbia Falls police arrested a 24-year-old man on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol during a traffic stop on Second Street East.

A high-school student was arrested on suspicion of possession of tobacco. Another student was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to Ponderosa Street after smoke from a cooking mishap filled a residence.
The Whitefish Fire Department responded to a lodge on U.S. 93 after a burn pile near their golf course flared up. The flames were quickly gotten under control.
The Kalispell Fire Department and Evergreen Fire Department responded to Presentine Bar for a rollover crash. Three people were treated for minor injuries.
