A 38-year-old Whitefish man was killed in a rollover accident Friday night.
Timothy Kramer died shortly before midnight Friday when his 2001 Ford pickup rolled on Wagon Wheel Road, a private road near the north end of Whitefish Stage Road.
Kramer lost control of the pickup, Montana Highway Patrol trooper Dustin LeRette said. The truck went off to the right side of the road; then Kramer overcorrected to the left and back to the right.
The pickup rolled onto its top. Kramer, who wasn't wearing a seat belt, was pinned underneath, LeRette said.
According to Flathead County sheriff's Sgt. and Deputy Coroner Jim Browder, Kramer died instantly.
The one passenger in the pickup, an unnamed friend of Kramer's, was not seriously injured. The passenger was wearing his seat belt, LeRette said.
LeRette said he isn't sure why Kramer lost control of the vehicle but that alcohol was a factor in the crash.
Kramer was a pediatric dentist who worked at Kalispell KiDDS on Four Mile Drive.
