Class A honors handed out Area soccer players earn All State

After a dramatic finish to the season for Class A boys and girls soccer teams, now come the individual honors.

For the Whitefish girls, who lost in the state title game to Billings Central last Saturday, seniors Kelsey McCluskey, Carly Lengstorf and Hannah Long have been crowned All State.

Rounding out the list is junior McKenzie Reeve from Columbia Falls, sophomore Caitlin Charlebois of Bigfork and Libby's junior Anna Valentine and sophomore Jaime Gilden.

On the boys side, the state champs out of Libby had two seniors crowned with All State honors- Evan May and Dustin Morningstar. Libby beat Billings Central 2-1 in a shootout to win the title last Saturday.

Other All State honors went to three Whitefish seniors Jake Danczyk, Marc Hotzfield and Patrick Jones, Columbia Falls senior Travis Pete and Polson senior Keio Salmonson.
