It was a memorable senior night for the Glacier volleyball team on Thursday. A year after winning only three games in conference, the Glacier Wolfpack finished conference play with victory number eight after defeating Missoula Big Sky in three straight sets.

"It was a great way to finish conference play, on senior night and to really secure third place," Glacier coach Christy Harkins said afterward. "It was a monumental night for the Wolfpack."

The Wolfpack threw down 42 kills in the game with Emilee Hashley and Lexy Boschee contributing 10 apiece. Both girls also tallied two aces apiece as well.

"We swung really hard tonight and played very consistantly," Harkins said.

Glacier (8-4) secured third place in Western AA and will host a home playoff game as yet to be determined next week.

Harkins commented on how far the team has come with a team full of leaders.

"Where you're starting a program you never know how it's going to turn out," she said. "I'm so pleased with these girls. Such fantastic improvement all season long."
