Flathead County Sheriff's deputies arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of partner assault after responding to a disturbance on Creston Hatchery Road. The man allegedly grabbed a knife and chased his wife, who in return threatened to hit him with a pan, around the house until she called 911. He was gone when deputies arrived at the couple's residence, but authorities arrested him during a traffic stop a short while later.

Cables and chains went missing from a pickup truck on Pheasant Drive. Guns were stolen from a Kings Way residence. Firewood was stolen on Van Sant Road.

Someone shined a flashlight in the window of a residence on U.S. 93 in Lakeside but was gone when deputies arrived.

A Ganz Road resident called to report a missing four-wheeler.

A man was spotted rolling a water heater out of a Lakeside garbage dump and across a nearby park.

Deputies responded to reports of a domestic disturbance on Birch Drive. They also separated two people arguing on North Many Lakes Drive.

Concerned that an intoxicated person riding a bicycle near a convenience store on U.S. 2 and Reserve Drive might fall into traffic, a passerby called authorities.

Some kids were spotted on the roof of a restaurant on U.S. 2 in Evergreen. The building is undergoing repairs following a fire.

Shots were heard in the Conrad Drive area. Deputies were unable to find anything amiss.

Horses got loose and ran across Whitefish Stage Road, near where it runs into Montana 40.

Deputies received 121 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Kalispell police

A Fifth Street West woman surprised someone in her home late Monday night. The woman's husband called Kalispell police after the suspected burglar ran out the back door. Nothing appeared to have been taken.

A woman received a call from a friend that her ex-boyfriend drove his vehicle through the bay door of a Center Street shop.

A manager recently fired from a book store on South Main Street allegedly threatened his former employers.

Tools were stolen from a hardware store on Seventh Avenue West.

Officers warned a woman who threatened her mother on North Meridian Road.

Officers arrested a 33-year-old woman for DUI on Whitefish Stage Road and a 22-year-old man for DUI after a crash on Fifth Avenue West.

Construction workers making noise at a Carnegie Drive work site were asked to shut it down for the night. It was 8:13 p.m.

A single shot was heard in the 10th Avenue West area. Officers were unable to find anything wrong.

Officers cited some kids for possession of drugs, drug paraphernalia and tobacco while investigating a suspicious person complaint on Fourth Avenue West.

A woman picking up her son's things from a former acquaintance reported some things missing.

Officers received 69 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Monday and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police received 43 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police arrested a 35-year-old woman for possession of drugs, drug paraphernalia and a warrant out of Sanders County during a traffic stop on U.S. 2.

Officers assisted a Seventh Avenue West woman after her vehicle rolled out of her driveway and blocked traffic.

Officers received 18 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Squirrel sabotage caused a temporary electrical outage in uptown Columbia Falls on Tuesday.

Flathead Electric Cooperative said a squirrel got into a regulator at the substation there and knocked out power for an hour to 2,137 customers

Alarms

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to a crash at the intersection of Fifth Avenue West and Third Street. The fire department also responded to reports of a downed power line on Two Mile Drive.

The Columbia Falls Fire Department extinguished a fire in a field off Conn Road.

The Evergreen Fire Department was paged out to what was reported as an illegal burn on Ezy Drive. It wasn't.
