Flathead County sheriff

An Arbour Drive resident found a 2-year-old boy wandering around the neighborhood and called Flathead County sheriffs deputies. The boy was reunited with his mother.

A 12-year-old Lakeside girl who asked permission to play at a nearby school didnt come home when she was supposed to. The missing girl was found at a friends house.

An iPod and stereo equipment were stolen from a car parked on Frontage Road in Columbia Falls.

An intoxicated man got into an argument with his girlfriend on Conrad Drive. The warring couple was separated.

Two men were spotted jumping out in front of vehicles on Montana 35 in Evergreen, startling the drivers. This all took place near a bar.

Dogs chased livestock on Westwood Lane and horses on Rabe Road.

Someone stole a toolbox from a pickup on Sixth Street West. A backpack with a digital camera inside was taken from a vehicle on Hawthorne Avenue.

Officers arrested a 22-year-old woman on three outstanding city warrants for drug possession while investigating a suspicious-person complaint at a hotel on U.S. 93 South.

Officers told some people on Coot Court playing their stereo too loudly to turn it down. It reportedly had been playing for five hours.

A Sixth Street West woman reported receiving threatening text messages.

A Sixth Avenue East woman currently in California told police she thought her soon-to-be ex-husband was at her home vandalizing her stuff. He wasnt.

An intoxicated man kept calling the Police Department and hanging up on dispatchers. He eventually told them he wanted to make an anonymous complaint.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 42-year-old woman on suspicion of DUI, driving without a license, and no insurance during a traffic stop on Texas Avenue.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man on a warrant for traffic offenses during a traffic stop on Wisconsin Avenue.

A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and eluding after police pulled him over off U.S. 93.

Officers received 48 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police are investigating reports that someone threw burning debris onto the porch of a Darlene Road residence.

Officers received 27 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Alarms

The Somers Fire Department responded to a chimney fire on Buffalo Trail, and the Evergreen Fire Department responded to a chimney fire on Shady Lane.

The Evergreen Fire Department responded to a vehicle crash on U.S. 2.

The Kalispell Fire Department and West Valley Fire Department responded to Farm To Market Road after a vehicle crashed into a utility pole. No one was taken to the hospital.
