Lilian Anna Carlson, 94

Lilian, 94, passed away Oct. 19, 2008, at Brendan House in Kalispell.

She was born Nov. 15, 1913, in Neillsville, Wis., the daughter of Art and Anna Epp.

She eloped with Carl J. Carlson on April 25, 1931.

She moved to Montana to be closer to her only son and family in 1971.

Lilian is survived by her son, Art, and his wife, Donna, and their five children, Ken of California, Dave of Kalispell, Susanne of Columbia Falls, Tim of Colorado and Jim of Washington; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

Lilian loved the outdoors and gardening. She was very active in Eastside Grange in Creston, AARP, and RSVP for many years.

As she requested, there was no funeral. Instead, family and friends will have a celebration of life at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, to be held at Risen Christ Church in Evergreen.
