Flathead County sheriff's deputies responded to East Evergreen Drive to break up a disturbance between a husband and his wife. She allegedly threw his breathing aid at him as he tried to move out. Alcohol was involved.

A person found slumped over the wheel of his car near a convenience store on U.S. 2 and Batavia Lane did not need medical attention.

Deputies counseled two neighbors fighting on Harmony Road. No word on what the argument was about.

An Elm Avenue parent called to report her child for violating probation. The parent was advised to contact Youth Court and make a complaint.

Illegal hunting was reported on Bayou Road. Deputies were unable to find any criminal activity.

Deputies received 122 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Kalispell police

Three medical marijuana plants were reported stolen from a residence on Glenwood Drive. Kalispell police took the report.

Officers responded to Flathead High School and arrested a student on suspicion of disorderly conduct and probation violation.

Five boys ramming their bikes into doors, walls, and picnic tables outside an East Idaho Street business got belligerent when confronted by a passer-by.

Someone shot a cat in the neck with a pellet gun on Second Avenue West.

An Eighth Avenue West woman reported receiving 10 profane text messages from her ex-husband in 10 minutes. The ex-husband had an active warrant for his arrest.

Officers received 85 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police received 38 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Columbia Falls police

A handgun and a checkbook were stolen from a vehicle on Third Avenue West. Columbia Falls police are investigating.

Officers received 26 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Alarms

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to a crash at the intersection of U.S. 93 and Sunnyview Lane. Police ended up arresting a 37-year-old man on suspicion of DUI.

The Big Mountain Fire Department responded to what was reported as an unattended, burning slash pile about halfway up Big Mountain.

The Evergreen Fire Department responded to a crash at the intersection of Montana 35 and Shady Lane, but no one involved suffered serious injuries.

The West Valley Fire Department was paged out to a building on U.S. 93 North after someone inside reported a burning, electrical smell.

The Coram Fire Department responded to a hit gas line on U.S. 2.

The Olney Fire Department was dispatched to extinguish some slash piles off U.S. 93.

The Kalispell Fire Department and Somers Fire Department responded to the intersection of U.S. 93 and Montana 82 after a car hit a deer. Only the deer was injured.

The Evergreen Fire Department responded to a crash at the intersection of U.S. 2 and Rose Crossing after an older man's vehicle hit a fence. He was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to Central Avenue after a woman suffered a cut on her head. She was taken to North Valley Hospital.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to North Meridian Road and Liberty Street after a boy was hit by a car. He reportedly had been jumping out in front of traffic. He was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center with a non-life-threatening head injury.
