Bonnie Jo Bondeson, 72

Bonnie Jo Bondeson, 72, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center in Kalispell. She was born on March 24, 1936, in Three Forks to Raymond and Fernetta (McDonald) Haas.

Bonnie received her early education in Three Forks before moving with her family to Townsend.

She met Tom Holling and the couple were married on May 23, 1952, in Butte. The couple started their family and lived in Butte for two years before moving back to Townsend. The couple divorced in 1961 and Bonnie remained in Townsend until 1971, when she moved to Kalispell.

Upon arriving in Kalispell, Bonnie started a day care center, which she operated until 1986.

Bonnie met Erle Bondeson in Kalispell and they were married in 1978. Erle passed away in 1991.

Bonnie loved the outdoors -- camping, hunting and fishing. Her property on the Middle Thompson Lake was truly her getaway.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband; and her parents.

She is survived by two daughters, Carol Duval and husband, Jim, of Columbia Falls, and Cathy Bauer and husband, John, of Kalispell; and two sons, Thomas Holling and wife, Pam, of Kalispell, and Danny Holling of Eureka; three sisters, Donna Brents, Jerry Young and husband, Dave, and Lila Ankerich and husband, Ranny; one brother, Robert Haas, and wife, Mary; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Bonnie will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22, in the Johnson-Gloschat Funeral chapel. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., today, Nov. 21, in the funeral home. Burial will be in Glacier Memorial Gardens.
