Clayton Brice Alstad, 26
Clayton Brice Alstad was born Aug. 30, 1982, and "went to be with his brother in Heaven" Nov. 19, 2008, due to a tragic motorcycle accident.
Born and raised in the Flathead Valley, Clay lived his life to the fullest; he loved hiking, fishing, hunting, camping, baseball, football, hacky-sack, snowboarding, ultimate fighting and, believe it or not, he fancied himself a gourmet cook. He lived life to the fullest in his 26 short years, having fun, being a mentor and hanging with his family; "brothas and homies" is what his life was all about.
Clay looked forward to hunting season every year. He loved the outdoors and hunting with his dad, brother and all of his friends. He enjoyed time with his family and was a great help to his grandparents getting their winter wood.
Clayton touched many lives; too many to mention.
A Jack of all trades, Clay had many jobs including logging, construction, paving, heavy equipment operator, and apprentice electrician.
His laughter will be missed by all who know and love him.
Clay was preceded in death by his brother, Jordan Micheal Alstad; paternal grandfather, Orlando J. Alstad; and great-grandmother, Joy Loring.
He is survived by his parents, Alan Alstad and Teri Bailey, sister, Destiny "Giget" Bailey, paternal grandmother, Dorothy Alstad, and maternal grandparents, Bryan and Jan Bailey, all residing in Kalispell; Monty Ventsam of Canyon Country, Calif.; aunts and uncles, including Linda and Ed Benson, Ron Alstad, Carol Vish, Shari and Grant Spoklie, and Mitch and Holly Bailey, all of Kalispell, and Liz and Ken Greene of Collierville, Tenn.; and numerous cousins, including Bobbyjo Bonner and family, David Benson and family, Christy Gross and family, LoriAnn Abernathy and family, Josie and Nate Spoklie, Thomas Bailey, and Brittany and Bryan Green.
Memorial services for Clayton will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 24, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. There will be no visitation.
