Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded to a residence on Montana 40 near Columbia Falls after a woman reported that her boyfriend was breaking stuff in the house and smashed the windows on a Jeep. He reportedly was upset because they were breaking up. The man and woman were separated.

Someone cut fuel lines on vehicles parked at a Department of Transportation facility on U.S. 93 near Olney and made off with more than 100 gallons of fuel.

A Monegan Road resident thought the two men who shot a deer on their property were poaching.

A Church Drive resident reported receiving threats, possibly about a related theft.

Junk in a container on Desert Mountain Road was reported as a meth lab. It wasn't.

Deputies responded to a residence on First Avenue South in Hungry Horse and told an unwanted person to leave.

Deputies responded to an apartment complex on West Reserve Drive after a resident complained about a neighbor's loud music.

A resident on Aero Lane in Ferndale called in to complain about a neighbor's unsafe shooting.

A drunk driver was reported traveling eastbound on Montana 40 near Trumble Creek Road. Deputies were asked to assist the Montana Highway Patrol and state game wardens in tracking down the vehicle.

Deputies responded to disturbances on Shady Glen Drive and Shadow Lane in Evergreen, where a woman apparently had a new boyfriend retrieve her stuff from an old boyfriend's residence.

Deputies separated two people fighting at a Mallard Loop residence and responded to reports of an assault on Vista Lane in Bigfork.

Deputies received 138 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Kalispell police

A man hiding in the bushes on Hilltop Avenue whispered to a high school aged girl waiting at the bus stop to "Come here." Kalispell police were notified.

A pit bull cornered a woman on Sixth Avenue West and wouldn't let her by.

The occupants of a car that hit a deer on U.S. 93 near Flathead Valley Community College were not injured.

Two dogs got into a Sunnyview Lane resident's yard and killed a couple chickens.

The intoxicated residents of an Appleway Drive home asked deputies to remove their mother from the premises. She was taken to an East Idaho Street motel.

A stop sign was reported missing at the intersection of Second Avenue East North and Oregon Street.

Someone reportedly kicked down the door of a First Street West residence, but nothing appeared to be missing.

A woman called from U.S. 93 South to report that while she was still in the Columbia Falls area her ex-husband tried to ram her car while she was leaving with her son.

A man who rear-ended another vehicle was arrested for DUI and failure to remain at the scene of an accident when he stopped off at an East Idaho Street fast food restaurant.

Officers separated two men fighting in a parking lot off Sunnyview Lane.

Sunglasses, a sweater, and an iPod were stolen from a vehicle on Fifth Street West. A purse was stolen from a vehicle on Fourth Avenue East.

A Third Avenue East North resident complained that the neighbor was harassing her by constantly locking and unlocking her car doors.

Officers received 79 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Thursday and 2:30 p.m. Friday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police received 42 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police responded to Martha Road after a woman was reported for trespassing. A warrant was issued for her arrest.

A 27-year-old man was arrested on a Kalispell warrant. He was taken into custody at the police station

Officers received 25 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Alarms

The Hungry Horse Fire Department, Canyon Quick Response Unit, and Three Rivers EMS responded to U.S. 2 near Berne Canyon after a car hit a tree.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to a Kenway Road residence after a fire was discovered on the porch. The resident thought someone had thrown a bottle of flammable liquid onto the porch, but investigators were unable to find any evidence of a Molotov cocktail.

The Kalispell Fire Department also responded to what was reported as a chimney fire on Sixth Avenue East. Turns out the resident was just cleaning it.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to a Mexican restaurant on U.S. 93 after a car ran into the building.

The Smith Valley Fire Department and West Valley Fire Department were dispatched to U.S. 2 near mile marker 108 after fire was reported in some trees.

Someone on Crestline Avenue with a leg injury from a fall suffered the day before was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center. The Kalispell Fire Department and Evergreen Fire Department responded.

The Marion Fire Department stood down after what was reported as an out-of-control fire at a Pleasant Valley Road wildlife refuge turned out to be timber workers lighting slash piles.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to Kelly Road after a resident reported smelling the odor of natural gas.
