Heidi MacGillivray, 50

| November 29, 2008 1:00 AM

Heidi MacGillivray, 50, passed away on Nov. 17, 2008. She entered the world on March 29, 1958, in Spokane. She was the fifth of six children (Heather, Scott, Andrew, Don, Ian) of Donald K. and Suzanne Troyer MacGillivray.

She attended Hutton Elementary School, St. George's Middle School and graduated from Lewis and Clark High School.

Heidi was an adventurous spirit and loved to travel. She worked as a cocktail waitress and this enabled her to live and travel throughout the Northwest. Heidi loved the outdoors and her favorite activity was camping. Mountains, lakes and rivers were where Heidi felt at home.

For the past 15 years she was living in Columbia Falls, at the doorstep to Glacier National Park, Whitefish and Flathead Lake. Always accompanied by her faithful large dogs, she was quite a sight traveling in her small car. Heidi's optimism and energy will be missed and her smile always will be with us.
