A Lakeside woman called Flathead County Sheriff's deputies after her soon-to-be ex-husband showed up at her residence and allegedly hit her with his car. The 31-year-old man left before authorities arrived, but deputies pulled him over on U.S. 93 and arrested him for DUI and negligent vehicular assault. The man, whose story differed from that of his spouse, told investigators the woman jumped in front of his car and wouldn't let him leave.

Someone broke into a house on Shady Lane, but there was no word Tuesday on what was missing.

A white 1996 Ford Explorer was stolen from a parking lot on Third Street West.

A motorist on U.S. 2 in Evergreen reported the driver of a red Pontiac, who reportedly passed him erratically and then flipped him off, for road rage. Deputies were unable to find the suspect vehicle.

Deputies responded to an argument between a man and his girlfriend at a Montana 35 residence. He reportedly yelled at her in front of her two children.

Someone at a car dealership on U.S. 2 in Evergreen called deputies after he was approached by an intoxicated man who said he had been assaulted. Deputies spoke with the alleged victim and determined that the altercation in which he had been involved was not physical.

Deputies responding to a fight outside a Hungry Horse bar, which reportedly involved some shoving, ended up arresting a 29-year-old man for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Someone stole "stuff" from a car parked at a West Valley school.

A driver ran their car into a building on Half Moon Road, but no one was injured.

Deputies went to check a transient camp behind a box store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen to look for an 18-year-old girl. She had already gone.

An East Mountain Meadow Road woman told deputies she heard a prowler tapping on the windows of her home. When her son went outside to check it out, he found a mentally disabled woman wandering about. The woman was taken to the hospital.

A vehicle ran into a horse on Montana 206.

Someone threw a rock through the office window of an auto repair shop on Ninth Street West in Columbia Falls. The culprit also slashed the tires on a vehicle in the parking lot.

Chain saws were stolen from a business on Smith Lake Road.

Two roommates at a West Reserve Drive residence got into an argument over unpaid rent. One roommate wanted the other roommate to move out.

An intoxicated woman hitchhiking on U.S. 93 South kept falling into traffic. She was gone when deputies arrived.

Someone left the door to the city parks and recreation building open, apparently to air out a recently painted room. Whatever the case, someone noticed it and called police.

Whitefish police arrested a 37-year-old man for disorderly conduct and partner assault after responding to reports of a disturbance at his Texas Avenue residence.

The Evergreen Fire Department responded to the parking lot outside a convenience store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen after a woman there was knocked in the nose by an errant piece of wood. Her husband took her to the hospital.

The Marion Fire Department responded to what turned out to be the controlled burn of a slash pile near mile marker 99 on U.S. 2.

Three Rivers EMS and the Canyon Quick Response Unit responded to a rollover crash on Gladys Glen Road near Coram, but the injured party was taken to the hospital via private vehicle.

The Kalispell Fire Department and Marion Ambulance responded to Lake Hills Lane, where a boat fell on a man and trapped his legs. Neighbors got the boat off, and the man was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The West Valley Fire Department responded to Farm To Market Road after a tree fell across some power lines.
