Robert Dean Kelly, 66

Robert Dean Kelly, 66, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, in Kalispell. Robert was born on June 11, 1942 in Imperial, Neb., to Wayne and Camilla Kelly. He was raised in La Mirada, Calif., and graduated from Excelsior High School.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1967 until 1969, where he was stationed in Korea as an M.P.

Robert married Linda Oakley in 1988 in California.

He worked during his lifetime as a police officer and a sheet metal worker, and he owned and trained guard dogs.

He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, black powder guns, tinkering around his shop and hanging out with the family.

He was preceded in death by father, Wayne Kelly, and his mother Camilla Eskew.

Robert is survived by his wife, Linda Kelly, of Kalispell; his children, Jenelle Kelly of Colorado, Kurt Kelly of Washington, D.C., Ted Eades of Texas, Daniel Eades of California, and Scott Eades of California; a brother, Jack Kelly; grandchildren, Brogan and Makenna Kelly, Emma Eades, and Thomas and Will Eades.

A celebration of his life will be held at 4 p.m. today, Oct. 21, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home with Sean Morgan officiating.
