A Kalispell couple pleaded innocent Thursday to stealing a woman's credit card information and then using it to wrack up more than $6,000 worth of charges at businesses around Flathead County.

John Fred Werner, 44, and Dawn Werner, 41, each pleaded not guilty to one count of felony deceptive practices. They were arraigned in Flathead County District Court.

Prosecutors allege the Werners used the card at several Flathead Valley stores, including Sportsman and Ski Haus and Target, between July 4 and Aug. 15. Investigators were able to recover video surveillance of the couple using the card.

If convicted, the Werners each face up to 10 years in prison and a $50,000 fine.
