A Bernard Road resident thought campaign literature left on her doorstep was inappropriate, so she reported it to the Flathead County Sheriff's Office.

Someone broke in the back door of an Airport Road residence.

Deputies arrested one of the men reported fighting on Montana 35 on an out-of-state warrant.

People reportedly were spotlighting animals in a field off Bragg Road. The incident was turned over to Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks for extra patrols in the area.

Deputies received 161 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Kalispell police

A woman wasn't injured when her boyfriend allegedly held a knife to her throat, but Kalispell police arrested him on suspicion of assault with a weapon.

Someone reported a couple had stolen a goose from Woodland Park. The culprits turned out to be people who'd reported - and subsequently picked up - a duck with an injured leg.

A caller found inappropriate pictures of children at a Rosewood Drive residence.

A Dodge pickup was reported stolen on Fifth Avenue East.

A hydraulic wood splitter, valued at $1,000, was stolen from a carport on Fourth Avenue West North.

Officers received 64 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Friday and 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police arrested a 64-year-old woman who allegedly was trying to steal makeup from a store.

Officers received 34 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 27-year-old man on suspicion of having an open container outside a downtown bar.

Officers received 37 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Alarms

A 5-year-old boy burned the lower half of his body when he turned on the hot water while unsupervised in the bathtub. Whitefish ambulance took him to the hospital Friday afternoon.

The Whitefish ambulance took a 60-year-old man to the hospital Saturday afternoon when he cut his fingers with a table saw.

ALERT helicopter took at least one person to the hospital after a rollover Friday night near Coram. Four possible injuries were reported in the accident.

The controlled fire behind a car dealership in Evergreen wasn't illegal, but because it was windy, the Evergreen Fire Department asked the people to put it out.

The Ferndale and Whitefish fire departments took care of trees that blew down in the road and on power lines.

The Whitefish and Evergreen fire departments responded to a burning field off Whitefish Stage Road. The fire was legal, but the landowner was advised not to burn during windy weather.
