Sanders County confirms homicide

The Sanders County Sheriff's Office confirmed Sunday that it is investigating a man's death as a homicide.

The man's body was found along Thompson River near a ranger station Saturday, roughly eight to 12 miles northeast of Thompson Falls.

Information on the man's identity, how he died and on any suspects was not available Sunday.
