Florence Elizabeth (Webber) Sirianni, 77
Florence Elizabeth (Webber) Sirianni passed away Sept. 1, 2008, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center at the age of 77. She was born Dec. 13, 1930, to Austin and Iris (Tripp) Knapp in Miles City.
Her family lived at various places across southern Montana until they moved to the town of Olney, where she met and married George Webber in 1946. Their marriage ended in 1976. She then married Joseph Sirianni of Fernie, British Columbia.
When Joe died in 2007, Florence moved to Eureka and lived with her daughter until May of this year, when she moved to Heritage Place in Kalispell.
Florence completed eighth grade in regular schools and then returned to Flathead Valley Community College to complete her GED in 1973.
She worked at North Valley Hospital in Whitefish as a nurses aid from the late 1950s until 1972. She then worked as a desk clerk at the Cadillac and Kalispell Hotels until 1976, when she moved to Fernie.
Florence was a member of Rebekahs for over 40 years, an advisor for Theta Rho, a Girl Scout leader, and a member of the Eagles. She liked crocheting, playing cards, dancing and jigsaw puzzles.
Florence is survived by a brother, Russell, and wife, Betty Knapp, of Virginia; daughters, Mary Stevens of Kalispell, Shirley and husband, Arland Riebe, of Kila, and Linda Setzer of Eureka; son, Stan Webber, and wife, Charlene, of Kalispell; and a very special friend, Cindy Hutchinson, of Fernie. She has nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; sisters, Dorothy Camp, Bessie Pahrman, Irene Poe, and Betty Lou Vick; and brother, Joseph "Bud" Knapp.
A private burial will be held at the cemetery in Whitefish. A memorial service is planned for a later date.
