A Wilson Heights woman told Flathead County Sheriff's deputies her daughter took her car, a gold Elantra, without permission. Authorities suspect the girl is headed to Missoula.

A Plentywood Drive woman told deputies her car was stolen when her son took it to a party. The vehicle was later involved in a crash, from which the driver fled.

A Harmony Road man told deputies he saw his friend with what is now a missing motorcycle. Deputies told the man to have the owner call them and report it stolen.

Kalispell police

While investigating reports of a disturbance on Third Avenue West, Kalispell police arrested a 21-year-old man for carrying a concealed weapon, reportedly a butterfly knife, and on an outstanding Lake County warrant for failing to appear on a traffic citation.

Two highly intoxicated men, one of whom was passed out, were taken to an address on Nicholson Drive.

A Fifth Avenue West North woman claimed her husband was trying to take her kids, so she jumped into the back seat of his car. Officers determined nothing criminal had occurred but also contacted Child Protective Services.

Two people reported watching a man throw a needle and spoon into a garbage can outside a Fifth Avenue East apartment complex.

Officers cited a 13-year-old girl for stealing a necklace from a store in a Center Street mall.

Kids yelling obscenities at each other in the parking lot of a grocery store on Third Avenue East North looked like they were about to start fighting. When officers arrived, one of the warring parties had already gone.

Whitefish police received 33 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police responded to First Avenue East and arrested a 33-year-old man with a warrant out of Arizona for second-degree escape.

Officers received 26 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Alarms

Three Rivers EMS responded to Lake McDonald Lodge in Glacier National Park after a 5-year-old girl fell and cut her head. The girl ultimately was taken to the hospital via private vehicle.

Three Rivers EMS and the Columbia Falls Fire Department responded to mile marker two on the North Fork Road after a motorcycle hit a deer. Two riders were taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The Kalispell and Evergreen fire departments responded to Ridgewood Drive, where a 3-year-old boy was having difficulty breathing. He was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The Kalispell Fire Department also responded to reports of gas odors on North Meridian Road and a report of a broken foot on Appleway Drive.
