Flathead County sheriff
A woman in the hospital called Flathead County sheriff's deputies because she heard through the grapevine that someone has been in her East Evergreen Drive home. The woman's grandchild also called deputies to report his suspicions.
Deputies are following up on reports that an adult allowed a 14-year-old child to drive around Kalispell with two other children in the car.
Somebody moved a "For Sale" sign from the yard of a Columbia Falls Stage Road residence, prompting the owner to ask for extra patrols in the area.
No one was injured in a crash near the intersection of West Reserve Drive and Whitefish Stage Road, but firefighters were called to clean up some leaked fuel. Later, at the same intersection, a traffic signal malfunctioned and upset some late drivers.
A man wanted to retrieve property from his car, which had been towed to a lot on U.S. 93 South. Employees refused because the man wouldn't pay the tow bill. A disturbance ensued.

Kalispell police
Kalispell police arrested a 31-year-old man on a misdemeanor warrant out of Columbia Falls and on suspicion of criminal mischief. The man, who had been drinking, allegedly was kicking, punching, and tearing at a tree outside a West Idaho Street business.
A man at a Second Avenue West community kitchen told a 12-year-old boy to unbutton his clothes so the man could feel his throat.
A man selling items door-to-door allegedly tried to push his way into an Empire Loop residence, despite the owner's refusal to buy his goods.
A Ninth Avenue West man told police he was afraid the car he was trying to purchase was stolen. Officers ran a check on the vehicle, and it came back to a person reported missing. The incident is under investigation.
Medication, cash, a gold necklace, CDs, and earrings were stolen from a car parked outside Flathead Valley Community College.
Residents who abandoned a Fourth Avenue East apartment were reported for leaving behind their dog and some drug paraphernalia.

Whitefish police
A Columbia Avenue man called Whitefish police after reportedly hearing somebody trying to break into his house. He later called back to say it was probably just the dog.
Officers arrested a Bulgarian national wanted on suspicion of felony theft of a credit card. The man turned himself in.
Officers received 33 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Columbia Falls police received 26 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to Karrow Avenue and extinguished a small hay fire.
The Kalispell Fire Department transported a man with possible alcohol poisoning from the Police Department's booking room to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
The Creston Fire Department responded to Foothill Road after somebody smelled smoke in the air. It turned out to be coming from a prescribed burn.
The Coram Fire Department was called to take care of some trees that fell across U.S. 2 near the west entrance of Glacier National Park.
The Kalispell Fire Department, Somers Fire Department, and Lakeside Quick Response Unit responded to a rollover crash on Cloverleaf Drive. A man, who was ejected when his pickup rolled, was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
The Kalispell Fire Department, South Kalispell Fire Department, and Evergreen Fire Department responded to a rollover crash near the intersection of Conrad Drive and Anderson Drive. Two people, both of whom were ejected but remained conscious, were taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
