Flathead County sheriff's deputies were called to a convenience store at the intersection of Montana 35 and Montana 206 after a man allegedly broke the windshield of his girlfriend's car during an argument. She declined to press charges.

A house on Karrow Avenue was egged.

Deputies responded to a school outside Columbia Falls after a 9-year-old girl was reported missing. She returned unharmed.

Motorists on U.S. 93 South reported seeing a black truck chase a motorcyclist. The driver and rider allegedly stopped their vehicles at the Montana 82 light and began fighting. Both parties were gone when deputies arrived.

A Harmony Road resident heard rustling in the field behind his house and called deputies, who were unable to find anything suspicious.

Deputies arrested a 14-year-old Birch Grove Road boy after he allegedly threatened and was aggressive to family members. He was taken to the juvenile detention center.

A man called the Sheriff's Office because he thought there may be a cat in a burlap bag off U.S. 2 in Evergreen. The man went to check it out, and freed a cat that had its head stuck in a potato chip bag that was stuck in a larger plastic bag.

A Birch Drive man allegedly throwing things during an argument with his girlfriend left before deputies arrived.

Deputies responded to Flathead Drive and served a resident with civil papers after the person who filed them saw the resident was there.

Someone broke into a shop at the ski resort on Blacktail Mountain.

A Mallard Loop woman told deputies she had been assaulted by her daughter, but refused to press charges.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police responded to Third Avenue East after a passer-by reported seeing a man sitting outside his pickup, drinking. Turns out the man had been kicked out by his girlfriend, and was staying in the truck.

Officers arrested a 23-year-old woman on a warrant for unpaid traffic tickets while investigating a harassment complaint on West Idaho Street.

A customer of a body shop on Third Avenue West North called police because employees wouldn't give him a refund.

Officers were called to check on a man spinning around in a mall parking lot with a smoke bomb.

The back gate and back door to a Seventh Avenue East home were found open, but nothing appeared to be missing.

Officers arrested a 35-year-old man on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and drug possession during a traffic stop on Third Avenue East North.

A vehicle reported stolen on Sixth Avenue East actually had been sold. The person reporting the "crime" was told ownership disputes were a civil matter.

A transient was spotted urinating in Woodland Park.

Unwanted skateboarders were kicked out of a First Avenue East parking lot, and unwanted men were told to move along from property on Fourth Avenue West and Bing Court.

Cash and a digital music player were stolen from a vehicle on Liberty Street.

Officers received 89 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 15-year-old boy on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia at Whitefish High School.

Officers arrested a 52-year-old man on suspicion of driving with a suspended license during a traffic stop on Seventh Street East.

Officers received 58 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police responded to a grocery store on Nucleus Avenue after medication was reported stolen.

A hanging flower basket was stolen from a health-food store on U.S. 2.

Two youths got into a fight at the junior high school, prompting a disorderly-conduct complaint.

Officers received 17 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Alarms

The Evergreen Fire Department responded to what was reported as a three-car crash on U.S. 2 in Evergreen, just outside Kalispell city limits. No one was taken to the hospital.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to a fuel spill on Fifth Avenue East.
