Flathead County sheriff

It took two tries, but Flathead County sheriff's deputies responding to a Lore Lake Road residence arrested a 36-year-old man wanted in Gallatin County on warrants for assault with a weapon, aggravated burglary, criminal mischief, theft and bail jumping. He was taken into custody without incident.

People at a church on Montana 35 reported receiving several suspicious phone calls. In the last one, a man was "howling."

A Conrad Drive parent called deputies with questions about how to get a restraining order against their daughter's boyfriend, who may or may not be an alcoholic.

A Caroline Road woman told deputies her sister came into her home and stole several items, including cell phones.

A Geners Trail woman told deputies she was threatened by her brother-in-law, who lives next door. The threats allegedly occurred during an argument over squirrels that chewed through some wire, causing a power outage.

Deputies served a 58-year-old Conrad Drive woman with a warrant for selling drugs.

Somebody broke the windshield out of a Chevrolet pickup parked on Farm To Market Road.

Someone lit a piece of paper on fire and left it on a Ridgewood Drive resident's doorstep.

Deputies separated a man and his son arguing on LaBrant Road and a husband and wife arguing on Ridgewood Drive.

Deputies arrested a 20-year-old woman on suspicion of theft and probation violation after she allegedly took a Riverside Drive resident's .44-caliber Magnum revolver and pawned it.

An Anderson Lane woman told deputies that friends of her daughter's boyfriend were driving back and forth in front of the house. They apparently were trying to intimidate the woman's daughter because her boyfriend was arrested on warrants after the couple was involved in a Kalispell disturbance.

Deputies were called to Eckleberry Drive, where an 11-year-old and a 12-year-old were arguing.

A child found on Dodd Avenue in Somers was returned to his mother.

Deputies received 168 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Kalispell police

A Fourth Avenue East resident told Kalispell police somebody stole the washer from his yard.

An employee of an electronics store on U.S. 93 South was "verbally assaulted" by an upset client.

Graffiti was found on a North Main Street fence and First Avenue West building.

A woman hit her head during a crash on U.S. 93 and Sunnyview Lane, but did not require medical treatment.

Officers took a walk-up complaint of a fight on Liberty Street, but when they arrived at the reported location, they discovered the altercation was only verbal.

Officers arrested an 18-year-old man on a warrant for traffic tickets while investigating reports of a disturbance at a Kalispell apartment complex.

Officers dispersed a group of people who looked as if they were about to fight in the parking lot of a West Idaho Street bar.

Fifteen people were acting disorderly in Woodland Park, but left before officers arrived.

Someone stole a DVD player and movie from a vehicle on Honeysuckle Lane.

A man showed up outside the kitchen window of a Second Street East residence and tried to engage a woman inside in conversation. She told him to leave and called police.

An Ashley Drive resident was threatened by a roommate who had been drinking, but left before police arrived.

Officers broke up an argument between a man and woman in a Liberty Street parking lot.

Officers received 86 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Thursday and 2:30 p.m. Friday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police broadcast an attempt-to-locate call for a gold Subaru stolen from Third Street West.

Graffiti was found at a Central Avenue park and on a deserted building on Edgewood Drive.

Officers arrested a 40-year-old man on a contempt of court warrant after his hearing in City Court.

Officers received 40 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police received 21 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Alarms

The West Valley Fire Department extinguished a small, burning hay pile near Farm To Market and Lost Creek roads. The department also was called out to a fire at the county dump, but it had been extinguished before firefighters arrived.

The Coram Fire Department and Martin City Fire Department were paged out to what ended up being a large campfire on Gladys Glen Road.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to Third Avenue East, where a 40-year-old man suffered deep cuts on both arms. He was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
