A man walking near an old Coram sawmill told Flathead County Sheriff's deputies he found the stripped down hulk of his old two-door Camaro. The man had reported it stolen in June 1994.

Two Steel Mountain Road neighbors got into an argument that allegedly included some chest-bumping.

A man told deputies another man tried to grab him while he was getting his mail on U.S. 2 east of Kalispell.

Deputies on two occasions nabbed shoplifters at a box store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen. The suspects, one a woman and the other a boy, each allegedly tried to walk out with DVDs.

A boy allegedly used a four-wheeler to tear up a driveway off Steven Road. The 13-year-old agreed to rake it back to normal.

Deputies helped a Ridgewood Drive resident get rid of a person crashing on the couch while investigating reports of a disturbance at the home.

Deputies located an overdue woodcutter near Tally Lake. The woodcutter informed deputies his task could yet take some additional hours.

One of the parties involved in a disturbance on Harmony Road was gone when officers arrived. Deputies located the suspect, a 25-year-old woman, about 15 minutes later and arrested her for DUI.

A motorcycle trailer was stolen in Hungry Horse, possibly.

Nail guns and a saw were stolen from a house under construction on Elk Park Road.

Deputies separated a man and his wife arguing on Ridgewood Drive.

Deputies are investigating reports that five minors were drinking at Bigfork High School.

Deputies received 174 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police cited two 16-year-old girls for stealing jeans from a North Main Street clothing store and a 14-year-old girl for stealing hair dye from a grocery store on Third Avenue East North.

A Seventh Avenue West boy told police he was assaulted by his mother. Officers separated the pair.

Cars were vandalized on Teal Drive, Appleway Drive and at a convenience store at the intersection of U.S. 93 South and Cemetery Road.

A 14-year-old Crestview Drive girl was taken to the hospital after consuming a bottle of medication for bipolar disorder.

Officers arrested a 47-year-old Ninth Street West man for partner assault after he allegedly came home intoxicated and slapped his wife.

A Hawthorne Avenue woman told police her son became confrontational and left, even though he was on house arrest. The woman told officers she no longer wanted her son at the house.

The person suspected of taking a laptop from a car parked at Woodland Park agreed to return it.

Officers responded to the county library after a 7-year-old boy was reported missing. Turns out he decided to use a bathroom other than the one his mother was expecting.

Officers received 61 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Monday and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Whitefish police

Someone reportedly tried to pull down a chain-link fence outside a Wisconsin Avenue market. Whitefish police are investigating.

Officers received 47 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police responded to Ninth Street West after receiving reports that two men and a woman were fighting.

Officers arrested a 13-year-old Talbot Road boy for probation violation.

Officers received 28 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Alarms

The Kalispell and West Valley fire departments responded to Whitefish Stage Road, where a 65-year-old man fell off a treadmill. He did not need to be taken to the hospital.

The Evergreen Fire Department responded to reports of a "funny smell" on East Oregon Street.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to a crash at the intersection of First Avenue West and 12th Street, but no one was seriously injured.

Three people were taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center after a crash on Montana 35 and Fairmont Road. The Creston, Evergreen and Kalispell fire departments were notified.
