While investigating reports of a suspicious vehicle near Conrad Drive, Flathead County Sheriff's deputies arrested an unlucky 19-year-old passenger on Kalispell and Flathead County warrants for contempt of court.

Deputies were called to break up an argument on Rufenach Lane. A 16-year-old boy apparently was upset because his spot on the couch, where he usually slept, was in use by someone else.

A man not wanted at a Lakeside Boulevard residence left before deputies arrived.

A Dern Road resident notified deputies after getting a call from the neighbors, who reportedly said poison had been put out so they better keep their dogs inside or put up a fence.

An Evergreen landlord called to report that a former tenant may be an unregistered sex offender from another state.

Video games and accessories were reported stolen on Sunset Drive.

Deputies received 143 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Kalispell police

A boy reportedly took off with the tip jar from a coffee kiosk on Fifth Avenue West and Center Street. Kalispell police are investigating.

A man trying to move out of a Trump Drive residence called officers because his landlord wouldn't let him take the TV. There is some disagreement over ownership.

Officers spoke with a man who had questions about his soon-to-be ex-wife getting into his personal e-mail accounts.

A car was reported stolen out of a parking lot on Schoolhouse Loop. Turns out it wasn't really stolen - a co-worker had it towed as a prank.

Officers broke up an argument between a man and woman on Airport Road. The subject apparently was rent.

Officers arrested a 55-year-old man for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest while investigating reports of an intoxicated pedestrian on U.S. 93 South.

Graffiti was found on buildings on Second Street East, West Center Street and South Meridian Road.

Someone tried to break into an enclosed back porch on Eighth Avenue West, breaking the doorjamb.

Officers received 60 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Monday and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested an intoxicated 21-year-old woman for disorderly conduct after she allegedly tried to take a swim in a retention pond at a Central Avenue park.

A phone and other items were reported stolen from a home on Lakeside Boulevard.

Officers arrested a 46-year-old woman on suspicion of DUI during a traffic stop on U.S. 93 and a 30-year-old woman on a theft warrant out of Toole County outside a Baker Avenue bar.

Officers received 44 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Columbia Falls police received 12 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Alarms

The Marion Fire Department was called to assist on a house fire on U.S. 2 across the Lincoln County line.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to a one-vehicle crash on U.S. 93. A woman was taken to North Valley Hospital with neck pain.
