Polson girls improve to 6-0

POLSON - The Polson girls, along with the Pirates' No. 1 doubles team of Kayla Rochin and Kendyall Rochin, stayed undefeated on the tennis season Saturday in dual action with Libby and Hamilton.
Polson, now 6-0 overall, tripped Hamilton 4-3 and Libby 5-2.
The Rochins, 5-0, stopped Nichole Newman and Lindsey Kehn of Libby, 6-3, 6-2, and Hamilton's Rebecca Hankel and Kimberly Lamar, 6-0, 6-2.
"Jane Probst got a very hard win over Mary Conwell to secure the dual win for us," Polson coach Bob Hislop said.
Probst, 4-1, defeated Hamilton's Conwell 3-6, 6-4, 6-2 at No. 1 singles.
Libby's Jackie Mee defeated Probst, 6-3, 6-2.
Hislop said Matt Roberts, at No. 1 singles, "had a very nice three set win over Alex Cislo." Roberts won 6-3, 5-7, 6-4.
Polson won at No. 1 and 2 doubles for a 4-3 dual win over the Loggers. Hamilton edged Polson 4-3.
Libby slipped to 0-3 in girls play and 1-2 in boys action as Hamilton swept the Loggers.
Mee, 2-0, defeated Hamilton's Kelsey Jura, 6-0, 6-3.
