Someone on Shady Lane in Evergreen told Flathead County sheriff's deputies he was approached by two men holding either bats or lengths of pipe, who then left in the direction of a nearby bar. Deputies determined the complaint was unfounded.

A Swan Mountain Drive woman told deputies she was assaulted by her son.

The person remodeling a home in Hungry Horse returned to find it broken into and damaged. He was unsure whether anything were missing.

Six or seven locks have gone missing from units at a Bigfork storage facility since the end of March, but nothing appears to be missing.

A runaway wanted in connection with an incident near Eureka was taken into custody after deputies responded to a suspicious-person report on U.S. 2 in Evergreen.

Deputies separated a man and woman arguing on Rose Crossing.

Deputies responded to a residence on Little Mountain Road after a possible intruder was reported.

A gun was found on Somers Road.

Threats escalated into an alleged assault at a Springcreek Road residence. Several deputies responded.

Disturbances between family members were reported at residences on Montana 35 and Rhodes Draw.

Dogs reportedly were killing chickens on Farm To Market Road. Animal wardens were dispatched to investigate the complaint.

Vandals damaged property on Columbia Meadows Road and, in a separate incident, at a church on U.S. 2.

Deputies received 146 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police ticketed a man who refused to leave the county library. After much discussion, the man agreed to a Monday court appearance. The man later showed up at a grocery store on East Idaho Street, still ranting about being kicked out.

A man allegedly jumped out of a vehicle on Second Avenue East North and began yelling at another man and his friends.

A man wanted to press charges after a fight at a mall, but after speaking with officers he decided against it.

The parties involved in a domestic altercation on Ninth Avenue West were gone when deputies arrived.

A Rosewood Drive resident who caught a teen coming through a window wanted him warned about trespassing.

A man allegedly chasing his mother on Harrison Boulevard while threatening her was arrested on suspicion of family member assault.

Three men were removed from a First Avenue West bar. Two went back to the hotel. The third was arrested for disorderly conduct and obstructing officers.

Officers received 61 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 43-year-old woman on suspicion of driving without a valid license and without insurance during a traffic stop on Central Avenue.

Officers received 34 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police arrested three boys on suspicion of attempted theft after they tried to steal from a business on Fourth Avenue West.

Officers received 27 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Alarms

The ALERT helicopter, Somers Fire Department, and Lakeside Quick Response Unit were called to Troutbeck Road to treat a person bleeding internally.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to Rest Haven Drive after a resident suffering from a medical problem died.

The Somers Fire Department responded to a rollover on U.S. 93. No one was injured.

The West Valley Fire Department responded to a grass fire on Whalebone Drive.
